The Hebron Leather and Shoe Cluster (HLSC) brings together Palestinian leather and footwear producers in Hebron. Six of its member enterprises currently export footwear to the United States market through Amazon. To structure this export activity, HLSC has established Holy Land Footwear, a U.S.-registered company, and has launched the trademark “Canaanite Steps” as the commercial identity for Palestinian-made footwear in international trade.
Amazon provides checkout, fulfilment, reviews and marketplace search visibility, but it does not build brand equity, tell the story behind the product, or generate the public, dated evidence of use in commerce that supports trademark protection. HLSC therefore requires an owned digital presence that works alongside the Amazon channel rather than duplicating it.
HLSC is seeking a qualified web design and development service provider to deliver a professional, English-language brand website for Canaanite Steps on a “Brand & Bridge” model: the website hosts the brand narrative and product catalogue, and every purchase pathway routes the visitor to the official Amazon storefront and listings. Building a full transactional e-commerce store with checkout and payment processing is explicitly outside the scope of this assignment.
